Moody and Plumlee at signing ceremony

This week, The Blue and Gold features three athletes that all recently signed letters of intent to play college sports.

On Monday, Nov. 13, senior Carly Plumlee signed to North Greenville University to play softball. Plumlee has been an incredible player on the softball team her entire Devildog career. She has been an All-Region award recipient as both a sophomore and junior and hopes to continue that streak this year.

Senior Levi Moody also signed on Nov. 13 to play golf on a full scholarship at Wofford College. Moody has been described as one of the best players on the Travelers Rest golf team, a title he earned with hard work and dedication. This hard work also earned him the county and region award last year.

Finally, last Friday, Nov. 10, Shayla Webb signed a letter of intent for basketball at Limestone University. Webb is notorious for her ferocity on the court, and has won both MVP and Most Improved for her strong work ethic, basketball skills, and the energy she brings to her team.

The Blue and Gold wishes all of these seniors the best of luck in their future as college athletes. We are proud to have them representing Travelers Rest High School!
