On Friday, September 21 the Devildog Cheer Team held their first showcase of the year. This showcase served as a debut for the new uniforms as well as the new cheer routine for this season. The new uniforms are mostly TR blue with white sleeves and a gold stripe. The word “Devildogs” is written in gold cursive across the front and featured a gold dog paw on the back. Last year, the cheerleading team won region and are looking to repeat this year. They also went to the state competition and hope to return for the 2018-2019 season. This year’s seniors are Carson Hall, Allyssa Surett, Chanlan Ann Kasa, Taylor King, and Abbie Richardson. The first competition of the year was Saturday, September 29 at Easley High School, and the cheerleaders took second place.
