With the homecoming dance just around the corner, everyone is getting ready for one of the biggest nights of the year. “Homecoming is definitely something everyone should get the chance to experience,” said senior Mallory Nutter.

As most students know, homecoming comes with a lot of planning. It’s not always easy finding restaurants that have the available space for a group of eight on a Saturday night. Listed below are some of the best restaurants that still have tables on homecoming night:

Exquisite Eateries

If you’re looking for a filling meal before you dance the night away, The Peddler Steakhouse, located on Poinsett Highway, is the place to go. With a near five-star rating, this restaurant is a hot place everyday of the week. If steak isn’t your first choice, try their chicken breast or even shrimp platter. Considering this place is so popular, you may want to have an early meal if you don’t want to wait in line for more than 30 minutes.

Miso’s International Bistro takes a twist on Asian cuisine. With their now updated and expanded menu, the restaurant has something to offer to all. The restaurant has recently moved as well, now on Old Buncombe Road, making it closer to Travelers Rest. The new location makes it more convenient for students to stay local for their meal.

If Italian is what you’re ready for, try Davani’s in the historic area of Greenville. Located on Augusta St., this upscale restaurant is tasteful and elegant, perfect for you and your date. Davani’s does take reservations so remember to call before heading in.

With a fun environment and great food,  Willy Taco is the ideal spot for a large group. While it is a little farther away on Laurens Rd., it’s certainly worth the drive. From burrito bowls to quesadillas, you’ll be left wanting seconds.

Finally, one of the top restaurants, Grill Marks, serves an American classic: burgers! Grill Marks is a trendy burger and shakes bar located in downtown Greenville. Their extensive menu makes it hard to choose just one thing. However, people’s favorite part of their meal may be dessert. Grill Marks is famous for their incredible, next-level milkshakes.

We’ll see you there.
