This year’s 2022 Emmys gave out numerous amount of awards to many famous actors, singers, producers, and directors. Many history-making moments happened this year at the Emmys.

• Actor and filmmaker Lee Jung-Jae became the first Asain and first Native Korean to win an Emmy.
• Actress Zendaya became the youngest actress to win an Emmy twice. This award was given to her for her work in Euphoria’s second season.
• Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph became the second black actress to win outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series. She accepted the trophy for her role in Abbott elementary
• Director Hwang Dong-hyuk became the first South Korean to win outstanding directing in a drama series. He won for the episode “Red light, Green light” in Squid Game.

During the Emmys, DJ Zedd tried to make the Emmy’s Club themed It’s never going to happen!! Let it go. Jennifer Coolidge won her first ever Emmy and began dancing on stage for the crowd to the song “Hit the Road Jack.” Those who won awards at the Emmys were grateful for their win but were not allowed to express their gratitude by speaking on stage. Unfortunately, no one got to have a good laugh because the Emmys would present any SNL bits this year. The actress Chrissy Teigen reveals during the Emmys she had an abortion to what she said “saved her life for that baby had no chance.”
