While Brooks Koepka was playing in the CJ cup in South Korea, he injured his left knee right before the start of the third round. As a result, he had stem cell treatment on the knee and has been hoping for a speedy recovery. Since he is ranked number one in the world as of right now, Tiger Woods, the captain of the team, picked him to play in the Presidents Cup. Sadly, Koepka has not recovered yet and he was replaced with Rickie Fowler, another outstanding player. This will not be the first time Rickie Fowler will be participating as he is 2-0-1 in previous President Cup’s. Last season, Koepka won three tournaments and came close to winning the Masters and the United States open. Overall, Fowler assures Koepka that he will do his part to bring the President’s Cup home and wishes him a speedy recovery.
