During regular season play the Devildogs and Blue Flames met twice, the first was at Pickens High School in which the Devildogs took a 4-3 win, and then for a second time at TRHS. Due to the loss at home the teams were tied for first place in the region.On Tuesday, October 13th the girls tennis team played Pickens High School for the region championship.  The first win for the Devildogs came from the number one singles player, Addy Bonesso, she won her match 6-0, 6-0. Senior- Alice Boswell-Brown returned to play last night after being out of the season due to injury, and was able to secure another win for the Devildogs. The number two singles player, Gibson Wyatt, was able to push forward and gain another win for the team. The number 5 singles and number 2 doubles were unable to gain another win; however, the number 4 singles player Kassie Suddeth was able to secure the win and the Region Champ title. The team will continue into the playoffs with their first round being at home- Tuesday, October 19th versus Dreher.
