New Team in The School

This year Travelers Rest High School has added a new sports team, boys volleyball. This new team is led by Coach Mills, our basketball and PE coach. The boys team consists of Noah Mills, Luke Mckitrick, Yohann Barraza-Maldonado, Levi Samples, Isaiah Mills, Blake Delcueto, Connor Earle, Jason Taylor, Orlando, Jacob Earle, Ethan Conway, Christian Woodard, and setter Ryder Stauffer. The boys have an upcoming game at home versus Wade Hampton on August 21st at 6:30pm. They played Eastside in a scrimmage on the 14th and played hard, losing 5-0. After talking to some of the players about the atmosphere of practice and their previous scrimmage Luke Mckitrick said “It’s gonna be a great season because we are all having fun together” and says “practice is very educational” and he continues to learn things about volleyball daily.
