Rylie Buchanan is a member of the 2021 graduating class of Travelers Rest High School. Rylie was a part of the girls tennis team her junior and senior year and was the captain of the team her senior year. Academically, Rylie was involved in many extra curriculars, including newspaper, teacher cadet, beta club, and NHS. 

After graduation, Rylie will attend USC Beaufort to study biology. Rylie hopes to receive a bachelors degree in biology and a masters degree in secondary education so she can become a high school science teacher. 

Her favorite activity during high school was taking pictures at football games for the newspaper. The most valuable thing Rylie learned about high school was to get involved, which relates to what she regrets most about high school: not getting involved.
