Wicked Week 2022
This year the student council hosted its second-ever “Wicked Week.” From October 24th through October 31st, the council created themes and activities for the students to participate in. To kick off dress-up days, the first dress-up day was pajama day, which is most students’ favorite. Some other days included Dracula day, witches vs wizards, trick or twin, freaky Friday, and to end the week of fun, Halloween costumes on October 31st..
Besides the fun dress-up days, students were given the opportunity to pay $1 to enter a raffle for a basket full of goodies. Teachers were also given this opportunity. A pumpkin painting contest was held, with the winner being senior Audrey Pace. Since hats are not generally allowed to be worn at school, students were allowed to wear a hat if they bought a $1 hat pass. On Halloween day, the student council sold hot and ready Krispy Cream doughnuts and it was a hit.
To end off the week, a $5 dodgeball buyout happened during first block. 6 teams participated and team 1 took home the win. Students enjoyed the week and it was a success in raising money for the school.
