Fall trees

Fall trees

November has always been one of my favorite times of the year.  The leaves change color and fall.  I know a lot of people see the falling leaves as a hassle to rake and bag. But I love the crunching sound they make when you walk through them or rake them in a pile and flop right in the middle.  November brings the cool days and colder nights that call for cozy sweaters, roaring fires, and roasting marshmallows or making s’mores.  Hot chocolate and cider fill my cup and warm my soul. The radio stations start to play holiday music and the Hallmark Channel brings back its Christmas movie countdown.  Football season is in full swing and yes I am, “All In.”  My Tigers are a force of nature.  But most of all, November is a time for reflecting on the good and bad moments of the year- being thankful for the things you have, evaluating the things you achieved, and planning for the things you desire.  For me, November is a verb not a noun.  I am “Novembering.” I am remembering all the reasons that I have to be thankful and am planning all the things I intend to achieve.
