TR Boys and Girls Track and Field Teams Win Region!

On Wednesday, May 5th and Thursday, May 6th, the AAAA Region 1 Track Meet was hosted at Westside High School. We are proud to announce that both the Boys and Girls Teams won the meet, after dozens of athletes finished in the top 8 positions in their events, racking up hundreds of points for the teams. These accomplishments are doubly impressive with the Boys and Girls teams having gotten 1st and 2nd place, respectively, at the Greenville County Championship less than a week earlier. Those athletes who finished in the top 4 positions at Region will be participating in the Upper State Region Qualifier meet on Saturday, May 15th with hopes of reaching the South Carolina State Championship the next week. In addition, the top 2 finishers in each event at Region were named All-Region Athletes for the year. Congratulations to the following athletes for being named All-Region!
